In the meantime, you can have a lot of fun in Brand ... Only around 1200 meters the snow decreases rapidly. Everything further up is skiable without rock contact and very fun ... There's enough snow for freeriding, that's for sure.

Snow quality

The snow quality changed from sleet in the morning to beautiful powder towards midday/afternoon. If it continued to snow in this quality tonight, there would be the finest powder tomorrow (unfortunately the forecasts say otherwise).

Risks

Today we were only out and about in or near the forest. Extremely steep slopes were avoided today. All in all, the situation there made a pretty safe impression. However, there was a lot of sleet in the morning, which can definitely lead to a weak layer.

There were some pretty awesome lines today. And as it was extremely snowy today, you could take some of them twice or even three times. If you don't mind a lot of snowfall and a bit of wind, you got your money's worth today. We definitely had a lot of fun!!!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
