Snow report Brandnertal / Rätikon, 02/10/2017

Not much to get in Brand - off the beaten track, at most north tours are possible.

Snow condition

As the weather was too warm again last week, more snow has melted away. Yesterday a few centimetres were added, but they couldn't do much. Bushes, trunks etc. are getting through, just like stones.

Most of it is dismantled. There really isn't much to hollow out. You can still do something on the north side, but there's not really much. From around 1300 it's slushy in the afternoon and everything is softened, the south side is completely soaked during the course of the day. Only on the north side is there still something to be gained, but only as a tour.

Risks

It's been a stable double for days, the area is at level 1 and we haven't noticed anything unusual in the terrain. There are a few self-releases from the past week on the steep slopes.

Unfortunately there was nothing more to get out of the area - better go on tour in higher areas.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
