Sufficient snow conditions for tours in the Rätikon. But generally really little snow for mid-February. Above the tree line it gets thin and descents into the valley are only possible on forest paths.

Everything is there - powder only in higher, shady areas (> approx. 1,700 m). Sunny areas are now crushed harsh snow, deeper then slush

First wet snow slides and avalanches from steep southern slopes due to warming and radiation

Fantastic day - but the quality of the snow is slowly starting to deteriorate with warmth and sunshine.
