Snow report Brandnertal / Rätikon, 03/07/2017
And finally !THE! powder day... my no.1 this season. Powder, sun, quite safe location and simply gigantic!!!

Snow condition
Above 1500m I would now give it a 3, but at lower altitudes around 1200m there is still too little snow (could disappear again with the next hair dryer). Above 1500m, up to 50cm of powder was added in some places and this is very fine to ski. Of course, it depends a lot on the slope, because there are also some that "only" have to make do with 20cm of fresh snow.
Snow quality
In the north in the morning a juicy 4 ... It was just wonderful to get face shots all the time. Also when it came to landing drops ... I'll just say absorbent cotton. Around 12 - 13.00 the snow on the northern slopes became a bit more compact/heavier but you could still easily call it powder. The sun was the southern slopes' undoing. As early as 11.00am you could only find very heavy fresh snow there, which was no longer nice to ski around 3.00pm.
Risks
There was jumping, jumping, jumping and more jumping ... It felt as if they wanted to blow up the whole mountain. However, not much really came down (just a bit of sluff). It was the same on the north-facing slopes we skied (30 - 40 degree gradient). The snow was super set and just felt safe. Of course, with a triple and the gradient, a lot of caution is required ... no question. But there was only sluff coming down everywhere. Ps: The sun said goodbye around 1/14.30pm ... there were no photos before that ... sorry ... it was too cool.
Overall impression
5 stars? You're out of your mind!!! If you take this season into account and I look back on today ... it was "THE" day for me this season. The amount of snow, the quality of the snow and above all the few people who were out and about today made my day even sweeter ... You also can't leave out our beloved sun ...
