Ski tour Blankuskopf (2334m) from Palüdbahn in Brand

Snow condition
The piste is currently still open all the time, only at the bottom there is briefly five meters of no snow. On the ascent to the summit there are patches without snow on the east and south-east facing slopes and otherwise often only a few centimetres of snow. Otherwise there is enough snow everywhere, at about 1500 meters the dirt road was milled out when we came down. About 150cm of snow there.
Snow quality
Unfortunately it didn't freeze through tonight. On our tour the eastern slopes were still the best, we had quite good firn for the first 300m on the descent at 10:30. But it was already a bit too deep. After that it was deep swamp, you could surf quite ok, but it was no fun. Too bad with the beautiful slopes. On the piste it was a bit better again :-)
Risks
Some wet snow slides and avalanches are already at the bottom, but there's still a bit at the top. At about 1700 meters, I also sent off two wet snow slides on a slope that was about 35 degrees steep. So it would have been better to start and ski down earlier, and not just in terms of snow quality.
Overall impression
Very cool scenery, first time in the region, very cool here! In terms of snow, it could be better, of course the tour was a bit low for the temperatures.
My buddies were on the Schesaplana, conditions were similar: great for the ascent, downhill similar to ours.
