Snow condition
You can ski well above 1500m. There is even a good base in the forest. At 2000m there is also a quite acceptable amount of powder. Below 1500m I don't recommend going off-piste. On the north side there is generally a better base than in the south. There are similar amounts of fresh snow there, but underneath it doesn't look as rosy as in the north.
Snow quality
This morning we had very fine snow...only below the 1600m mark it was also quite wet at the beginning. Unfortunately, this got worse as the day went on. So that from about 13.00 even at 2000m only wet snow came down from the sky. I therefore assume that there will be quite heavy snow everywhere until the evening. I think there's a good chance of a nasty snow cover tomorrow.
Risks
Below 2000m there was a 2 today. I would personally confirm that. The top layer of about 5-10cm almost always came off on steeper slopes, but that was all. We were able to see a few old cracks and outcrops, but they looked really old.
Overall impression
For the morning I'll give it 3 stars, as we still found a lot of untracked terrain and were able to let off steam to our heart's content. From midday, however, we had to call it a day because it was just too wet. Tomorrow we're definitely going higher up.
