Saturday's rain has caused quite a bit of damage here. Compared to the last few winters, there is still quite a lot of snow. The snow cover is completely closed around the Hochhäderich.

In the morning hours, there was about 3 cm of fresh snow under the influence of strong winds. The fresh snow was completely blown away in most places. Underneath, there is a frozen layer of harsh snow that is not bearing. All in all, a very hard base that has hardly thawed even under the influence of the sun.
Risks
Individual wind signs from the night and small older slides in the area are visible.
Overall impression
The morning was mostly cloudy, from midday it was sunny and warm throughout with little wind. All in all, a beautiful sunny start to the new year with fairly unsuitable snow conditions.
