Some descents are now possible to a limited extent. However, stones can still be expected in many exposed places, and many grasses and bushes are still sticking out. The depth of the snow varies greatly depending on the terrain, from 50 cm to green meadows.

That was nothing today. The snow had a closed cover on all the slopes today. Still relatively thin above 1700m, but then increasing quickly, not bearing anywhere. Light powder underneath.

Risks

According to the llb, a 2 below 2000m today, there were no unusual dangers to be seen in the area. The previously very wet snow is now frozen solid.

Just in time for the new year, we went to Damüls. Goal: to do some sport again and lose a few grams. It was enough for a bit of training, but off-piste there was no fun to be had in any of the exposures due to the hard-packed snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
