Snow condition
I would probably have given 3 stars again if someone hadn't helped me instead of "hating". Well, for me the trip (at about 2000 meters) would have been a 3, but of course everything below about 1500 meters is a pure 1, hence the reasonable 2 stars. Further down in the valley it unfortunately rained today, which turned into heavier snowfall from about 1200 meters. Above 1500 meters there are great places to have fun. Of course, various rocks and larger bushes peek out, which will probably not be visible at all in deeper winter.
Snow quality
The snow had formed a layer of hardpack, but it was still bearable and easy to ride on (not the usual extremely firm hardpack). As the day progressed, the snow became much heavier and wetter.
Risks
All in all, the snow settled quite well and seemed to be safe, but caution was required in certain places where the wind had driven the snow over the last few days.
Overall impression
Despite the, let's say, not so racy weather and the given circumstances, it was a great trip with great people.
