Snow condition
Storm without end, from zero to bottomless. Ice, roots and stones on one side, endless drift snow on the other. Difficult.
Snow quality
The drift snow was of very good quality. Fine-grained and cold. This is the only reason for the 3 stars. Where it is not deep enough, it becomes crunchy and rumpy.
Risks
Wow, that's hot. Advise everyone to think about what they are doing even more than usual. In poor visibility, even a fully loaded dome/slope that you "accidentally" slide into can be enough to get buried. Massive amounts of snow and that for more than 2 days now, in places I had the feeling that the snowfall was only caused by the storm blower.
Overall impression
Today you really had to want it, the storm was totally grueling, after 4 hours I gave up. The drift snow was great, there were also a few nice turns under the pillars, today the force of nature was the experience, as well as the chairlift rides as corks on the sea. I was amazed at how long these things run. They stopped every now and then, but each time they kept going. The summit gondola lift had to capitulate earlier, so I'm ruling out any detours into "deeper, more open, steeper" terrain for the next few days. It's unpredictable. I'll look for a few meadow hollows.
