Snow condition

Excellent snow conditions in all exposures, downhill runs are possible everywhere. The fresh snow (approx. 20 cm) fell today with little wind influence, especially below the tree line.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Very good fresh snow in all exposures. Soft, not too heavy, fell without wind. Powder enjoyment! The temperature remained stable and cold today, the sun didn't come through, so the snow quality was brilliant throughout the day.

Risks

The main danger spots we observed were mainly caused by wind. Ridges and ridges, especially above the tree line, show numerous traces of wind. Overall, the snow cover is very stable, but we were mainly out and about in the busy terrain within the ski area.

PowderAlert in Mellau - the heavy fresh snowfall on Sunday brought us numerous great runs, endless faceshots and a super week finale!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
