Snow condition
Below 1100m, the steep grassy slopes from east to south were sometimes quite narrow, as the rain "back then" sent quite a few streams down the slope. When it's flatter, it's doable. From then on, however, everything is actually rideable. At 1500m there was about 1.5 m of snow, up to about there you could still see the rain grooves. I can confirm the 15-20 cm of fresh snow from german. As soon as you get a little higher, the snow conditions are really good. The ridges are wind-worked but still mostly snow-covered.
Snow quality
Above 1500m really great powder on a hard but pleasant surface. It was full throttle! Below that, it slowly became a bit more difficult, but still good. Unfortunately, due to the small amount of fresh snow, you then hit the hard surface, which was unpleasant in the tracked terrain. No more full throttle... 4 stars at the top, 3 stars overall
Risks
Old sliding snow avalanches were still visible in the corresponding expos. I didn't see any drift snow here, but on higher mountains you could see smaller slides that probably had to do with drift snow, which fits in well with the LLB. In very shady locations, surface frost is currently forming.
Overall impression
I give it 4 stars because we didn't expect much and then we were rewarded. In addition, the clouds opened up shortly after the start of the tour and we were able to enjoy the powder at Bluebird! That was really good!
