Ski tours with north-facing descents in the Bregenzerwald
Snow condition

Overall impression
Snow condition
On Saturday about 30 cm of fresh snow at 2000m. Less towards the bottom. Generally little snow, but on the shady side you can get down to the valley, partly on paths, without any damage. south-facing slopes open until far up or still a few remnants of fresh snow, but not skiable.
Snow quality
Nice powder on the north side. Partly on still powdery/soft ground, very nice to ski there, otherwise, depending on expo and slope, difficult or crust
Risks
We were out and about below the old snow problem. The main problem is drift snow, but it is currently quite easy to recognize.
Overall impression
Fresh snow, beautiful weather and powdery Nora runs, measured against the winter, were two very nice days.
