Snow condition
The snow conditions are still unchanged, all variants are skiable, tours are easily possible. Only in very wind-exposed places is the snow cover so thin that individual bushes and grass come out. In the lower areas, the descent is only possible with difficulty, and off-piste descents should not be planned.
Snow quality
The snow quality is very mixed depending on the exposure. The snow became very soft towards midday, and in the afternoon it became slushy in the south. Only in very shady northern exposures were individual fields still soft and fluffy. The easy-to-reach variants have been torn up and are no longer a real pleasure due to the heavy snow in the afternoon.
Risks
We were on rather flat (below 30 degrees) and heavily traveled terrain - there were no particular dangers to be seen here, except that the snow was softened by the sun and plus degrees.
Overall impression
A few nice turns were still possible in the Sulz, but the day was simply too warm for anything else - sweating in temperatures well above zero. When it gets colder again, tours in the north-facing terrain could be worthwhile.
