The recent temperatures can be attributed to the poor southern slopes and generally dwindling snow. Only on the northern slopes are there still some beautiful spots that are really worthwhile.

Snow quality

There is hard snow, ice, firn, slush and, for those who don't want to believe it, "POW". However, the pow is limited to very, very shady north faces, which still have a lot to offer in reserve. I would even give the north-facing slopes a 3-4, only the poor other slopes pull the rating down.

Risks

Quite save, a few wet snow avalanches were spotted on very poorly loaded southern slopes. On the north-facing slopes, pretty much everything was saved.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

High temperatures, the ascent in a T-shirt and sunglasses. The descent on the northern slopes was a dream!!! Yes, you can also have a lot of fun in spring. I don't regret leaving the bike in the garage for a while.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
