Well, I wouldn't call it quality any more. It wears well, but slowly the cleats come through. No contact with the ground. And it went faster downhill than yesterday.

The first hunger pangs are satisfied. If you're wondering whether there's still time: there are still a few meters of altitude to go today. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, the magic will probably be over. The snow is disappearing from the grassy slopes and at the top, you're likely to start slipping around on the stones. There were also significantly more cyclists than ski tourers...
