Of course, it's still early in the season and Laterns isn't exactly high either, but there's an estimated 15 cm of snow at the bottom and 25 cm at the top. Stone skis should be there and some manhole covers are peeking out (in the lower section). However, it has to be said that it has snowed quite a bit for the time of year ... and there was a lot more tonight.

A little heavier at the bottom, but the snow gets fluffier and lighter with every meter of altitude.

Risks

As Laterns is quite flat, almost no slopes were to be expected, but you should be careful on steeper sections. The ground is still quite damp, so caution is advised (in steep areas).

For the time of year, this tour was a complete surprise for us ... Having fun in the snow in the low Laterns now without any contact with rocks knocked our socks off ... better than expected.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
