Due to the foehn storm, we moved to lower regions and treated ourselves to a short ski tour.

Yesterday, a cold front brought about 10 cm of fresh snow. Unfortunately, this is only on meadows and from 1200 m on old snow remains. Actually far too little for touring.
Snow quality
Still ok in the early morning but already sticky and soft in the sun from 10:00 am. It was still rideable in the shade.
Risks
Too little snow for widespread avalanche danger.
Overall impression
We avoided the storm and were able to enjoy a short autumn ski tour in fine temperatures. Unfortunately, there won't be enough snow tonight to set off from the parking lot. The foehn is pushing the temperatures up. Around 11 degrees at 11 o'clock.
