Snow condition
From 900m the white patches start, from about 1100m the snow cover is closed and from 1400m there is about 20-30cm depending on location and wind influence. The snow cover is still very uneven. Driving is possible on flat grassy meadows, but not enough for terrain above 25°.
Snow quality
There is light snow on top, but it is very wet from below. The snow slows you down incredibly as soon as you sink too deep and there is still too little for steep slopes. But rideable in itself.
Risks
Wind was there, but the LLB can be signed up to 200m.
Overall impression
No expectations, but still a bit of fun. It was enough to throw the beacon in all directions and start the first search exercises. Let's see how it looks tomorrow.
