I can't really confirm the predicted amount of 20cm. But it will have been 10cm in total. The snow cover is closed down to below 1000m. At higher altitudes, it's estimated to be between 70-90cm. At Bödele, the conditions are already good enough for the odd treerun. The slightly pronounced lake effect has left a little more behind.

Already a little heavier at high altitudes on Saturday. Today, the 0 degree mark had risen to over 1700m by the afternoon and the snow was much wetter. With the weather forecast, the powder experience should be over for now.

Risks

In the meantime, some areas have started to form. The ground is still warm. You can tell. Otherwise, I can confirm what I have seen from the LLB I have read.

We've already had some fun so far. As the Bödele opened at the weekend, we were able to use the first kilometers of slopes on the season pass.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
