Snow condition
There is a lot - more than the last few years in the second half of the year. A few streams were still visible. There was no contact with the ground. Everything was rideable on easy terrain. We didn't really see much during the night, which is why we gave it a cautious 2 stars.
Snow quality
I don't know what you want more. BC, USA, Alaska - if it's better there, I'll hike out. I don't know when or if I've ever skied such light, fluffy powder. About 30cm of new powder and you can make nice turns on very flat terrain. I've never experienced anything like it. So many face shots as a 190cm man - never before with so little powder. The amount - more was not necessary!
Risks
On the way, we saw many sliding snow cracks on the southern slopes and a small slope that even reached the road. I would consider that to be the biggest danger at the moment. Apart from that, the amount of snow and the associated dangers are not exactly negligible and there has been little to no wind since the last snowfall. But we weren't at the top either.
Overall impression
Outstanding! We should have left a little earlier.
