Snow report Bregenzerwald, 12/07/2015
Piste day on artificial snow slopes: in the morning it's hard as a rock and the sunny slopes soften up quite well as the day progresses. From midday, the moguls grow on the pistes - off-piste options are very limited.

Snow condition
The snow depth is generally very variable to non-existent. A closed snow cover is mainly found on the north side above 1,800 m. None on all other exposures. Ridges and crests are free. The snow is mainly on the lee side at high altitudes. With a lot of motivation, short slopes can be skied off-piste. Stones and uneven terrain certainly pose the greatest danger.
Snow quality
There is a layer of harsh snow everywhere, which is sometimes stable depending on the exposure. On the sunny side, you could make firn runs if there was enough snow. The pistes are as hard as a rock early in the morning, from midday onwards it is deep slush on the sunny side.
Risks
There is currently no official LLB. After clear nights, I would see it at 1 in the morning and rising to 2 from midday. Especially on sunny lee-side slopes, there could still be chutes (> 2,200 m). But below 2,000 m there is simply not enough snow. On the shaded side, there are many fish mouths that have already opened up well. Some old chutes from extremely steep terrain can also be seen.
Overall impression
Spring conditions in December with moderate piste conditions. If the slopes are skied at the right time of day, the runs are fine and slushy. From midday onwards, the snow gets deeper and the bumps grow and grow ... The range of pistes and the operation was ok. Nevertheless, some ski tourers didn't let it spoil their day
