Snow condition
Very good from 1000m. At this altitude you can still see some streams. From about 1200m everything was covered in snow. Tree stumps etc. were covered and driving in the forest was possible.
Snow quality
There is 20-50 cm of fine powder on top, depending on the altitude. Last night's rain has soaked the base heavily. This subsides from around 1400m and the snow is dry and light throughout. Face-shot conditions at their finest.
Risks
Wind in the exposed areas, some slopes were well loaded.at lower altitudes, the soaked base is much weaker. We had several settlements in the first few meters, but this subsides from around 1200m. After that, the snowpack is much more stable.
Overall impression
We are still highly motivated. The run continues!
