Snow condition

On the back side (N) of Bödele, there is enough snow for free skiing from about 1,000 m upwards. We started today at approx. 700 m. Here it is just enough for a start. At the summit at 1,400 m, there is already plenty of snow. There is also enough in the forest from 1,200 m upwards.

Snow quality

Cardboardy from start to finish. Due to the high temperatures in all exposures. From about 1,200 m it snowed in the morning. Best quality to hone your riding style ;-)

Risks

According to LLB level 2, at this altitude you are mainly on meadows and forest tracks. Steep sections (>35°) are to be judged critically if the area is suitable. In general, this tour is very safe. Terrain traps are the bigger problem. The tree has recently fallen. The ascent track ran under the tree. The wind must have swept through here.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

We decided to go on a tour because the situation above the tree line is very critical and the wind and weather are difficult to predict. It will be very warm here again from tomorrow. On Monday, the 0° limit could be well above 2,000 m.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
