Despite the lack of fresh snow and the high temperatures, the base is surprisingly good. The snow has solidified overall and is somewhat compressed, but stones, bushes and the like are still covered. Exceptions are the meadow slopes, which have been cleared by sliding snow chutes. The ground is coming out here.

Well, it's no longer fresh, the sun and warmth have worked too hard. At lower altitudes (1,400-1,500m) it even rained... Up to 2000m there were plus degrees at times, but the advantage: in the afternoon there are already firn areas that are fun again. Everything outside the direct sun is under the snow cover. More technique training than fun.

Risks

Large sections are criss-crossed with countless sliding snow chutes. Partly completely gone. The remaining snow has settled so much that there is little to worry about.

Sliding around in Sulz is still quite fun, but for real powder fun there needs to be more snow again.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
