Snow condition
Well... not so great on the south side, start at 1240m, only a few cm of fresh snow from Monday. Up to 1500m you have to worry about your equipment. Stones, grass, tree stumps, open streams, everything there. Above that it slowly gets better and with a base, in very steep south-facing slopes it was snow-free until before Monday. At 1900m about 60-70 cm, but even on the north side, even small bushes look out far up. It absolutely needs snow all the way down.
Snow quality
There was only really good powder in the shade or on flat terrain. Otherwise settled powder and already slightly wet powder, but for the most part still easy to ski. A crust can be found in alternating sunny terrain. Unfortunately, even at 2000m the fresh snow from Monday (approx. 25cm) is not enough to avoid the rain crust, you often hit it. Except maybe when weaving braids. But you can't really go full throttle. Still 3 stars
Risks
2 was issued, and it was fine. There were small wet snow slides on rocky terrain, and it was quite warm. On my descent, the fresh snow slid off the rain crust on the south side. At the transition from a little to a lot of snow, there was a small snow slab that tore down to the ground. In a snow profile at 1900m, you could find 3 main layers: the loose fresh snow (25cm), a rain crust (5-10cm) and angular, wet old snow (approx. 40 cm)
Overall impression
It was fun, the weather was great, but there just wasn't enough snow. You should go further into the mountains, then the snow would be better. The last CR was a euphoric 4-star start to the season, now I'm being conservative and only giving it 2 with a tendency towards 3.
