Snow condition
Quite thin. On the shady side there is old snow underneath, on the sunny side only fresh snow of approx. 30+ cm. Many slopes are skiable, but contact is always to be expected. Many streams, hollows and avalanche weed still visible. Meadow slopes at their best. There is still a lot missing for enjoyable off-piste skiing.
Snow quality
On 26.12 the fresh snow was of the best quality. No wind, fluffy and not bottomless. It was dusty with every turn and covered you in a cloud of dust. On 27.12 it was more settled but still very good to ski. A bit heavier on the sunny side.
Risks
Above the tree line, the drifts were clearly visible. A few snow mouths opened up on steep meadow slopes. No other danger signs noticed in the variant terrain. LLB here in area 2.
Overall impression
All in all OK. Unfortunately, the snow cover is too thin for fun. You have to ski very carefully. All the surrounding tour destinations were climbed en masse. In the ski area, the routes/variant terrain has turned into moguls. Now everything has been dug over and we have to wait for the next snowfall.
