Snow condition
The snow conditions are average for the time of year. A descent to the parking lot is possible without any problems and all conceivable off-piste options are currently possible. Often blown off near the crest!
Snow quality
Really nice snow on north-west and north-facing slopes. On the south side and up to approx. 1,600 m you can feel a cap. In blown-off areas, the snow quality changes quickly, from very hard to crushed hard snow to drift snow. The soft powder snow (15-20 cm) sometimes lies on harder, but mostly soft and easy to ski layers.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: low
Altitude: 2100 m – 2400 m
Risks
Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)
There were no signs of spontaneous avalanche activity. The driving snow intensity was also very low today; it should be somewhat higher on south-facing slopes due to the strong wind.
Overall impression
Nice tour on a Monday with good snow, untracked slopes and no other people to be seen, what more could you want. Really nice snow on the north side, which should last for some time.
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
