Snow condition
Little snow at the starting point at 1350m, then increasingly better towards the top. But you can already tell that it's spring, the sun is shining on all exposures and the snow line is much higher, especially on steep south-facing slopes.
Snow quality
Thin snow crust up to 1800m, from then on 5-10cm of fresh snow which was mostly completely blown away above 2000m.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: medium
Altitude: 2000 m – 2500 m
Risks
Wind intensity: High (40 – 60 km/h)
Overall impression
Getting up early to make a tour before the bad weather front was unfortunately not rewarded, as the avalanche situation was much tighter than one would expect from the LWD. After changing the tour destination, we abandoned the alternative plan at 2500m. Up to 1850m mostly quite nice to ride as a splitboarder, for skiers the snow was not quite as good. Avalanche chutes into the valley were very hard at 9:30 am.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
