Nevache!

Snow condition
Not far from the Italian border, north of Briancon, lies the picturesque village of Nevache. To the south, at 2100m, lies the snow-covered Reruge de Buffere (picture 2, side building). From there we climb eastwards to the Montagne de Cristol with a view of the Claree valley to the west (picture 3). Descent to the west in thawed snow and on to the forest towards Nevache. There is powder snow in the forest!
Snow quality
Thanks to the wind of the previous days, all exposed slopes are covered in crushed snow. There are sections of powder in the wind-protected forest.
Risks
Unlike the day before (Terre Rouge), no avalanches in sight.
Overall impression
Another sunny tour with broken snow and a happy ending with powder in the forest.
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
