There was hardly any base but the fresh snow from Wednesday allows tours from 1000 m. Top powder snow and above 1600 m you hardly have to worry about stone contact. the snow line rose in the course of the snowfall, so at 1000 m there is about 30 cm and upwards it gets continuously more. At the summit I would estimate 60cm, but this is difficult to judge due to the wind loads.

Top powder snow and above 1600m you don't have to worry about stone contact. south-facing slopes partly with light cover from the day before.

Risks

Despite the old snow problem, the fresh snow and the drift snow packs have bonded relatively well with the snowpack. LWS 2 is consistent with my observations.

Overall impression

Winter at last in the local mountains Despite the bad weather and below-average snow cover, it was great, but feels more like December.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
