There's not much snow and the area didn't get much from the last northern thaw. At least we were able to ski down to the starting point on a forest road, hence just 2 stars.

Breakable crust
Firn

Spring conditions! We found some firn, lots of broken snow and some slow slush-gelato snow.

Risks

Fresh avalanches
Diurnal warming

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Avalanche activity

Dry loose snow avalanche (small)

Altitude: 2000 m

Overall impression

Equal

Our choice of tour was exactly right: more than firn is hardly possible here in the area at the moment. Unfortunately, the prospects are bleak without fresh snowfall... Great weather and beautiful mountains with best friends and ski touring dog! Va bene! 3 stars!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
