From the tree line it gets critical, and 100 meters further down you dig out stones and thus edges of the ski.

Three-day-old powder on an uneven base. Some of it is sugary to the bottom and some is rather rough.

Well, weak material and the cold are more of a concern than the snow cover. There are a few days old avalanches in front of the breeze on the north and south sides down to the bottom.
Overall impression
When it really gets going, it just gets going. A short warm-up lap through the field and then a few puffy turns later, it feels like a winter's day. With ice-cold fingers despite wearing far too thick clothing.
