Snow report Central Switzerland, 01/16/2016
Finally, silky-fine powder in Central Switzerland. The foliage on the Titlis, for example, was between knee- and waist-deep. Now you can really step on the gas without fear of stones. Of course, the visibility wasn't perfect this weekend. But with a little thought

Snow condition
Up to 1500 meters (end of foliage on the Titlis) there is finally more than enough snow. You can now go full throttle and use the lift to float and enjoy a face shot with every turn. Only in exposed places has the wind completely blown away the snow. But you can easily avoid these spots.
Snow quality
It couldn't be better!!! It was -20 degrees on the Titlis these days. Accordingly, five-star powder has fallen from the sky.
Risks
Warning level 3. Small dust avalanches could be observed from steep rock faces time and again. And it was stormy all last week. But what's most dangerous on the Titlis is the stress. Because everyone has the feeling that they are missing out in these freeride crowds, many people ride without any regard for losses. They don't keep their distance and drop in at the top. Sick!
Overall impression
Finally winter, finally powder, finally I know again why I love this sport so much. Finally, a tip: anyone who can somehow take Monday off should do so, or play sick. The sun is shining and the snow is perfect. The Titlis is ready. I give it 5 stars. The foliage was perfect!
