Snow conditions are good, especially at the top. Some of the ridges have blown off, but not extremely. There's enough snow down in the forest too, but not as much as last season in Advent, for example.

A bit of everything. Set powder on a soft base, on crust, lid or just crust. Finding the good spots was the challenge today. Shady and sheltered from the wind is of course best, on sunny slopes as flat as possible, you could still find something.

Risks

Actually quite good, especially near the ridge, watch out for drift snow and above all for gliding snow. There were some impressive fish mouths to be seen. There was also a large snow slab, I assume from the middle of the week.

With a bit of intuition, trial and error and traversing/running, you can still make beautiful descents. Unfortunately, the light became pretty flat just as I reached the top of the most beautiful line of the day.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
