Snow report Central Switzerland, 01/31/2014
Skitour aufs Nünalphorn ab Melchtal In der Zentralschweiz hat es noch deutlich weniger Schnee als im Berner Oberland. Neuschnee ist dringend nötig. Dennoch schöne Tour und schöner Gipfel und Abfahrt mit Müh und Not bis nach Melchtal.

There is very little snow for the season. Lots of stones. Descent to Melchtal possible with difficulty

Partly broken snow, partly hard, wind-pressed, icy snow. Very irregular. 1 slope in the middle (steep slope below Stäfeli) was nice to ski.
Risks
No problems, sure. But that will change tomorrow with the fresh snow.
