Snow report Central Switzerland, 01/31/2014
Ski tour to the Nünalphorn from Melchtal In Central Switzerland there is still much less snow than in the Bernese Oberland. Fresh snow is urgently needed. Nevertheless, a beautiful tour and beautiful summit and descent with difficulty to Melchtal.

There is very little snow for the season. Lots of stones. Descent to Melchtal possible with difficulty

Partly broken snow, partly hard, wind-pressed, icy snow. Very irregular. 1 slope in the middle (steep slope below Stäfeli) was nice to ski.
Risks
No problems, sure. But that will change tomorrow with the fresh snow.
Overall impression
