Snow condition

On the north side, the snow conditions are still good, you can get down into the valley (1000m) without any problems. On the south side it looks different, the green meadow is already higher (I didn't look exactly) and on top there was about 15cm of fresh snow

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Between 1000 and 1300m the fresh snow was heavy, but still nice to ride with a bit of power. Above that it was nice and dry but still a bit compact. That was quite good, you didn't feel the base for the amount of fresh snow.

Risks

Watch out for drift snow, otherwise quite stable. No spontaneous descents or walking signs seen. Certainly wasn't a "sharp" triple. Also downgraded to two for tomorrow.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

After the continuous high, the rare guest of fresh snow was very welcome, even if it wasn't a huge amount. With a little timing and muscle power, you can also avoid the freeride masses.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
