Eine perfekte Powderwoche in Engelberg endete heute mit Firstlines im Sulz. Am Mittag setzte die Sonne den perfekten Bedingungen ein Ende. Die nächsten Tage heisst es wohl Frühlings-Skifahren.

Snow condition
This week it has certainly dropped another meter in total from 2000 meters. A little less below that because it was still raining at 2000 meters on Sunday. In the meantime, the village is also covered in deep snow again.
Snow quality
Still good powder this morning. With a light cover in places due to the strong westerly wind. From midday, the powder turned into wet snow. Due to the sunny days that the meteorologists are expecting, it will probably be a mixture of crushed snow, firn snow and slush over the weekend.
Risks
The uppermost layer, around 20 centimetres thick, was poorly connected to the lower layer this morning. From midday, skiers could be seen releasing small wet snow boards in the steep passages. Spontaneous wet snow slabs could also be observed from midday onwards.
Overall impression
The whole of last week actually deserved 5 stars. And this morning there was still a lot of dust in the turns. Unfortunately, the magic was over by midday. Nevertheless: 4 stars for perfect weather and very good conditions.
