Snow condition
Quite ok in the Muothatal. Descent to trunk lid possible at 1100m. The terrain is very variable, but the snow has held up well over the last few weeks and will continue to do so for some time.
Snow quality
Classic spring tour. Everything is frozen through in the morning. Towards midday, the slopes that get sun become nice and soft. It remains hard on the north side. Old ascent tracks and wing fishing remained hard.
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
More from falling rocks than from avalanches. The 3 in the morning was not quite understandable for me. Radiation was probably better than expected. Quite swampy below 1300m
Overall impression
Beautiful tour in familiar terrain. Perfect descent in the upper area around 14 on the west side. The Sahara dust is so dusty and provides a nice contrast. From the middle, full into the fog and short and singing into the valley.
