Snow condition

4 von 5 Sterne

As you can see from Chris Berner's previous reports, the snow conditions are still very good. One star is deducted because a few stones and branches were sticking out at the bottom of the hiking trail.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

On the south side, sometimes firn, sometimes with a crumbly top, sometimes heavy snow. The (longer) northern descent in settled powder was very nice.

Risks

Actually quite good. Watch out for drift snow and be especially careful on steep, sunlit slopes. Not everything is down yet.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

An impressive tour in a great setting and still good snow, especially on the northern descent. As expected, we were not alone on the route, unfortunately we had to wait quite a long time above the Naad as there was a larger group inside and they took a relatively long time. The upper abseil point in the Naad is snowed in, but someone has laid a solid anchor. One 50m abseil was enough for us (it was too hard for us in the middle to slide down completely). The ridge is easy, even without crampons.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
