Snow condition
Conditions are still excellent for the time of year. On the north side, it is possible to ski up to approx. 1200m at Gerschnialp. On the south side, there is only snow in snow-covered hollows up to about 2000m where you can ski. Glaciers are well covered in snow.
Snow quality
Very hard in the morning and then, depending on the expo, nice firn or quick powder. On Friday and Saturday you could still find some settled powder on the north side above 2800m. But this was blown away by the foehn or turned into a hard layer that almost didn't firn up during the day.
Risks
Relatively relaxed. Note the daily pattern. Except for the north, small slides came down in all expos at noon.
Overall impression
Sulzsurfing is almost like powder skiing. Nothing going on and plenty of space to let off steam - until your legs get heavy.
