Der Winter meldet sich noch mal zurück.

Snow condition
It's just enough to get down to the Trübsee. In the last traverse there are already a lot of stones, further up it's pretty good. At Trübsee 20-30 cm of fresh snow, on the Titlis I estimate about 60 cm.
Snow quality
Contrary to expectations, the Titlis was above the cloud cover. This settled at about 2600m. Above the clouds was the best deep powder. As soon as you skied into the "gray zone", the snow became cardboardy to completely wet in the lower area.
Risks
Yesterday there was a lot of wind on the Titlis, which caused some drifting. The connection to the old snow is weak. A few slides started on many of the steeper slopes. As the day progressed, the snow below the cloud cover became so heavy that almost every turn triggered a small avalanche of wet snow - be careful!
Overall impression
The small revival of winter was fun, at least above the clouds. In the near future, the unstable weather will continue with more snowfall. Unfortunately, the really nice weather is missing, but if you can take advantage of the small windows, fun is guaranteed. The first 400 vertical meters on the Titlis were some of the best of the season.
