The conditions here on the Klausen Pass are still perfect for mid-May. You can ski down to the bus at the pass. On Saturday from powder to drifting snow to firn and then very lazy at the bottom. Teufelsjoch always offers a little adrenaline, and not just on the descent. The descent north up to 2300m is really beautiful, especially with daytime warming, it requires a lot of strength and promotes balance :) It's worth starting early in May. Fantastic spring conditions. Sunday much warmer, much more foehn and strong gusts so no more climbing possible. At the beginning of the week there will probably be more snow and especially towards Ascension Day there should be some more. klausenpass is passable up to 1600m, little snow on the south side, probably powder again on the north side:)
