40 cm fresh snow

Approx. 40-50 cm of fresh snow on no surface. Good-natured, not too steep ground is therefore an advantage. It still crashed from time to time. We had hoped for 10-20 cm more, which would definitely have helped.

Powder snow

Nice cold powder, great to ride. Deduction for the unavoidable bounce on the ground.

Risks

North-Eas East

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

At our altitude, with the exception of a few snow mouths, unproblematic. I would still take a very defensive view of shady slopes above 2,400 m, at least until there is more feedback from the terrain.

Overall impression

Better

Nice day in cold powder with a great crew. A bit more fresh snow would have helped, but there is some base now and next week there should be some more.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
