In the heart of Switzerland Mrs. Holle has shaken a lot - at 1200m about 60cm and from 1800m the meter mark is probably just about reached.everything fell without much wind - accordingly, paths, stream beds, uneven terrain are still clearly noticeable. Today about 10cm of new snow throughout the day. but a good basis is now in place.

Snow quality

Quite usable at the top with wind - bound snow. Fluffy when protected from the wind and relatively moist further down.

Risks

Lots of fresh sliding snow activity - especially on south-facing slopes. Due to poor visibility, we tended to stay in the wooded areas, where the dangers are mainly due to open streams, terrain edges, tree trunks, etc. The current LLB has been published again by the SLF since this week!

Overall impression

A nice, leisurely start to the touring season - it's definitely not enough here to go full throttle yet, but it was a good test in the most glorious snowfall

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
