Up on Titlis completely ok. On the Rotegg connecting route from Titlis (3000 meters) to Stand (2400 meters) yesterday you had to watch out for stones that were nastily hidden under the snow. Some intrepid skiers had already ridden the Steinberg yesterday. Their comment: "Great at the top, stony at the bottom." I wouldn't do that to my skis just yet. Although it is tempting when you look at the first picture. Today it's raining again at an altitude of at least 2000 meters.... Let's see what's left of the snow.

The snow quality is very good, especially on the glacier. In the lower part of the open ski area up to Trübsee at 1800 meters, you mainly ski on artificial snow. The guns are running at full power all day. Next to the pistes, it is only skiable in a few places. But at least it looks white next to the pistes compared to a week ago.

Risks

SLF reports warning level 2 and warns of drift snow accumulations, especially at high altitudes, due to the westerly wind.

In the glacier area, the first powder turns were possible - without pushing through to the hard surface and with very good snow quality. So at the top I give ***. It was fun and felt really good. The first, big withdrawal is satisfied, but at the same time makes you want more.
The lower part of the ski area doesn't really deserve a star in terms of powder. And if you study the temperatures for next week, it's unlikely to get any better...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
