We haven't had this much snow in recent years until the beginning of February at the earliest. Stones or frozen ground can only be found in the Laub exit at around 1500 meters in places blown off by the wind - and only rarely. And even in the Steinberg exit, you rarely get through. Only the key section requires a little more caution. It goes down very steeply... But you can easily avoid it.

Fluffy Pow Pow. It really doesn't get any better than this at this time of year. The finest powder, which has settled a little in the meantime. But it's the finest powder with every turn. Well, with the rise in temperature and the nice weather forecast for the next few days, this should change a little. But: It's supposed to snow again on Friday.

Risks

SLF reports warning level 2. I myself always hold back with a personal assessment here - because I leave it to the professionals to correctly assess the dangers. However, I can say that the snow cover seemed very stable to me and has already settled a little despite the icy weather. There were only a few fishmouths and small base avalanches on the southern slopes.

Wow, a powder dream already at the beginning of December. When was the last time we experienced this.... I experienced conditions like this for the first time last winter at the end of February. The finest powder, beautiful but icy cold weather and, despite a long queue in the morning, no powder stress at all. If there were 10 stars, I would also give this one after this weekend. And from Friday onwards, there will already be supplies. A dream and better than any present in the Advent calendar.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
