Snow report Central Switzerland, 12/11/2015
From Brüsti with detours to the Breitstock, 2464m - He who seeks shall find. Admittedly, it sounds hackneyed, but (unfortunately) very topical at the moment.

Snow condition
Not bad at all, but only if you compare the snow conditions in other parts of Switzerland or the Alps in general. There were no rock contacts, but most of the uneven terrain has not yet been ironed out with the coveted white. Western exposures are completely blown off in places, while the lee sides are well snowed in.
Snow quality
The 15-20 cm of fresh snow from 09.12. is now somewhat wind-blown, but still nice to ride. In some places, you can sometimes feel hard snow or, more unpleasantly, a layer of hard snow underneath. In general, the snow quality deteriorates with altitude and wind influence.
Risks
Moderate from 2500m, danger of fresh drift snow in gullies, hollows and ridges. The amounts are small, but you should pay the necessary attention to the risk of tearing. We were able to confirm this bulletin today. Unfortunately, the snow is increasingly changing and we encountered bottomless floating snow in places.
Overall impression
Central Switzerland is a great place for a few casual turns in pretty good snow at the moment. But of course, you'll need a heavy load here too.
