Titlis - A light at the end of the tunnel A snowstorm with heavy snow and wind set in on the mountain at midday today. But tomorrow the snow line is expected to rise to around 2000 meters...

Snow condition
Still very poor. Nevertheless, the situation is slowly improving at around 1800 meters. In the morning, 15 centimetres of fresh snow on a hard surface. A heavy snowstorm started on the Titlis at midday, which gives us hope. But tomorrow the snow line is expected to rise to around 2000 meters... Laub and Steinberg are therefore likely to be canceled over the next few days - the exits are too deep.
Snow quality
Powder good - but well pressed down by the strong wind. Tomorrow there should be wet snow below 2000 meters.
Risks
With the stormy wind and snowfall above 2000 meters, the avalanche danger will increase significantly. SLF reports warning level 3 for tomorrow.
Overall impression
At least we had the feeling of fresh snow again today - even if it wasn't enough to float on. But it gives us hope that the wait will soon be over. Let's hope that our hopes won't be dashed by rain tomorrow...
