The snow conditions are good, and you can even ski in the forest without hesitation. The only thing you should be careful of is driving over the edges of steep terrain, as there is a relatively good chance of an open fish mouth lurking behind. On Sunday, about 15 cm were added at the bottom and 30-40 cm at the top on the still soft surface.

Snow quality

Beautiful powder snow, outside the ridge without wind influence, really nice to ride. According to the CRs, not quite as blower as in other regions, but really good.

Risks

Drift snow is definitely something to watch out for. I would stay away from steeper stuff, especially near the crest. Sliding snow is also an issue with the many fish mouths, but unlike 2 weeks ago, I haven't seen any sliding snow avalanches here.

Overall impression

Deep powder, reasonably good visibility, no queuing and at 16:00 still making my own tracks (without effort) => very good day of skiing.
p.s. the first picture is from Saturday during the snowfall.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
